Stalagtites and Stalagmites

Cerme Cave is located about about 15 km to the southeast of Bantul regency. The length of this cave is entirely about 1.2 km. There is a river flows on the cave's floor which some parts of it are shallow and safe for caving. Beside the main cave there are other caves used for meditation places like Dalang Cave, Ledhek Cave, and Badhut Cave.

Jomblang Cave is a vertical cave with dense ancient forest below. A 300 meter alley with its beautiful natural ornament will bring you to the edge of Grubug Cave, a place where you can see light from heaven. Jomblang is one of hundreds of cave complex in Gunungkidul that becomes well known because of its uniqueness. In 2011, it is used as the object of a program called Amazing Race America.
